Hi Elizabeth! Thanks for sharing all these. I have been thinking of starting a podcast, too. Well, I fisrt bought a round lamp and that was my impulse buy as soon as I decided this in my mind. So I have been researching how to actually record and edit. I am glad I found your Substack. Also, do you earn anything through podcasts or are they for attracting audience to your platforms? Thanks!
Sorry for the uber late response! Long story short, I've been preoccupied the last couple of days! My podcasting efforts have been mostly for fun/creative outlet. It's funny I've been actually writing on Medium about my podcasting journey and lessons learned.
The podcast I have this publication as the newsletter for is hosted on Red Circle. Before that it was on Acast. Basically everything with this podcast except for the logo and the theme song was done by me. So if you every have questions about the process in any respect feel free to reach out! I've been podcasting in some fashion since late 2020 so I've learned and lived a lot about it! 😆
